Conference of the European Colloid and Interface Society, ECIS 2016 4-9 September 2016, Rome, Italy

The 30th Conference of the European Colloid and Interface Society (ECIS 2016) will be held from 4th to 9th September 2016, in the campus of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. The aim of the conference is to bring together experts from the interdisciplinary field of colloidal and interface science. ECIS 2016 covers fundamental and applied advances in the fields of Interfaces, dispersed systems, complex fluids, micro- and nano-engineered materials and devices formed by naturally occurring or synthesized elements: surfactants, polymers, proteins, particles.
The conference is a great opportunity for physicists, chemists, biologists and engineers to exchange knowledge and to start new collaborations: previous ECIS conferences have attracted up to 700 scientists from all over the world.
In addition, a pre-conference ECIS Training Course will take place at the campus of the University “La Sapienza” from 1st to 3rd September 2016. The topic of the course is “Colloids and Interfaces in Cultural Heritage: Physico-Chemical Methologies and New Investigative Approaches”.
