Italia Domani, the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), available at governo.it, is part of Next Generation EU, an economic EU recovery project. The total value of PNRR is 191.5 bn. The Plan’s 6 Missions are:
- Digitalisation, innovation, competitiveness, culture and tourism
- Green revolution and ecological transition
- Infrastructure for sustainable mobility
- Education and research
- Inclusion and cohesion
- Health
As regards the fourth Mission, in 2022, MUR promoted the creation of
- EXTENDED PARTNERSHIPS: large partnerships involving universities, research institutions and companies;
- NATIONAL CENTRES: 5 excellence centers to develop key technologies;
- INNOVATION ECOSYSTEMS : 11 regional innovations ecosystems;
- RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURES: up to 30 research infrastrutures for research and development.
All PNRR initiatives have a Hub & Spoke structure.
