Topological photonics has been opening exciting opportunities in recent optics research. This Special Issue provides a snapshot and overview of the recent advances in this thriving field of research. It features six papers and one review article, by some of the leading experts in the field, covering various aspects of topological photonics research. The collection provides an outlook on the opportunities that topological photonics offers for the future of nanophotonic technologies.
