Laura Pilozzi

Primo Ricercatore

keywords: polaritons; microcavities; metamaterials
Laura Pilozzi is Permanent Researcher at the Institute for Complex Systems of the Italian National Research Council.

Her research interest is in theoretical condensed matter physics and photonics. The main themes are related to radiation-matter interaction and polariton states of semiconductors and their heterostructures as microcavities (MC) and resonant photonic crystals (RPC) and quasicrystals (RQC).

The nonlinear optical effects and polariton scattering in microcavities (NO) are among her research subjects within the composed boson formalism for Wannier excitons (CB).

She is coauthor of nearly 30 scientific papers in international journals and referee for Physical Review Letters and Physical Review B of the American Physical Society (APS).
