Wolf prize in Physics 2021 to Giorgio Parisi

 

Theoretical physicist Giorgio Parisi, professor at the Physics Department of the University of Rome , “La Sapienza”  and  president of  Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, has been awarded the prestigious Wolf Prize for Physics 2021 “for his pioneering discoveries in quantum field theory, statistical mechanics and complex systems”.
