Short Bio:
She got her degree in Physics (1992) and her Ph.D. in Material Science (1996) at Sapienza University of Rome. She did a Post Doc at Daresbury synchrotron in England (1996-1997), at Zurich ETH in Switzerland (1997-1999), at INFM (2000-2003) and Sapienza University (2003-2004) in Rome.
She became TD INFM – CNR researcher in 2004, CNR researcher in 2009 and is currently Research Director at CNR-ISC.
Since 2016 she is responsible of Sapienza ISC unit.
Research interests
Her current research focuses on the experimental investigation of the structural and dynamical properties of complex fluids, employing conventional techniques (in particular DLS), as well as X-ray–based (SAXS and XPCS) and neutron – based methods (SANS and NSE). In recent years, her work has primarily addressed the phenomena of dynamical arrest and the phase behavior of hard and soft colloidal systems.
