The CN aims to create the national digital infrastructure for research and innovation, starting from the existing HPC, HTC and Big Data infrastructures evolving towards a cloud datalake model accessible by the scientific and industrial communities through flexible and uniform cloud web
interfaces, relying on a high-level support team, form a globally attractive ecosystem based on strategic public-private partnerships to fully exploit top level digital infrastructure for scientific and technical computing and promote the development of new computing technologies.

ISC participates to the activities of Spoke 7 (Materials  & Molecular Science), Spoke 8 (In-Silico Medicine & Omics Data), Spoke 10 (Quantum computing).

The researchers involved are Emanuela Zaccarelli, Massimo Cencini and 1 TD researcher to be hired for 2 years (Spoke 7), Simona Olmi (Spoke 8) and Laura Pilozzi (Spoke 10).

Call for applications for a 2+ years Researcher position on Quantum Technologies

 

 

We invite applications for a Post-Doc researcher position in the field of quantum information and technologies. The Researcher will be hired within the project: “National Quantum Science and Technology Institute (NQSTI) – Spoke 2 Foundations and architectures for quantum sensing, metrology, novel materials, and sustainability” funded by the Italian University and Research Ministry.

Depending on his/her background the candidate may work on a wide range of research topics including quantum networks for quantum information transport and sensing, modeling of complex quantum devices and geometric effects in quantum photonic networks.

The deadline for applications is May 15th 2023.

The project will be carried out at the Physics Department of the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in the Institute of Complex Systems in collaboration with Valentina Brosco and Paola Verrucchi and the Complex Photonics Group led by Prof. Claudio Conti.
